Operational Scheduling
Realtime optimisation of your port schedule, covering shipping, berths and resources
The operational planning module is the heart of the SEABERTH integrated scheduling and simulation decision support suite that combines the power of automated scheduling algorithms with an interactive planning board.
SEABERTH can be delivered either in stand-alone guise or interfaced to the client's IT systems e.g. to provide vessel nominations or inventory levels. Integration can be two-way e.g. returning the resultant berthing plan.
The SEABERTH constraints typically include: the terminal infrastructure which determines availability of products at berths, the size of ships that berths can accommodate, simultaneous activities allowed on adjacent berths, channel constraints, tidal impacts, availability of tugs and pilots.
The system incorporates shipping information on individual ship characteristics. Information on port infrastructure and other constraints are configured by Cirrus during installation.
SEABERTH is a multi-user system so the latest plan is communicated throughout the supply chain. Access rights determine who is able to perform different functions, ranging from Master Schedulers through to view only users
